Introducing Retro Vases by Panakeia.
We buy and sell new vases and “retro vases” clearly vases we describe as retro are NOT NEW.
“NOT NEW” does not mean poor quality. We hand check every retro vase we offer for sale and photograph and display several views for you to see. At Panakeia we consider quality is about meeting the needs and expectations of our customers. We have introduced a small range of yesteryear retro vases following requests from customers looking for nostalgic, olde world containers that blend with and compliment our cottage styled dried flowers and vintage style silk roses etc.

About Retro Vases.
The word retro can be interpreted many ways, generally speaking retro is deemed to be of a period style, imitative of a particular style or even a fashion from the more recent past. The word retro came into use in the early 1970s.
“Retro style is style that is consciously derivative or imitative of trends, modes, fashions, or attitudes of the recent past. The term retro has been in use since the 1970s to describe on the one hand new artefacts that self-consciously refer to particular modes, motifs, techniques, and materials of the past”.
